Beschreibung

Auf dieser abwechslungsreichen Tour entdecken Sie das Leben der Einheimischen in Khao Lak und erhalten ein tieferes kulturelles Verständnis. Sie treffen die Einheimischen, lernen ein wenig Thai-Boxen und werden von buddhistischen Mönchen gesegnet. Dann tauschen Sie die Kultur gegen die Natur mit einem Mittagessen am Strand und einem Besuch im Schildkröten-Rettungszentrum. Malee, einer unserer ortskundigen Tourguides, sagt: "Sie werden Spaß haben, wenn Sie sich mit den Bewegungen des Thaiboxens vertraut machen, aber der ursprüngliche Zweck des Muay Thai war nicht der Spaß. Es begann vor Jahrhunderten, als die Armee Schlachtfeldtaktiken für den unbewaffneten Kampf entwickelte. Diese alten Kampftechniken entwickelten sich schließlich zu dem beliebten Sport, den wir heute kennen."

Auf dieser Tour geht es darum, Thailands authentische Seite kennenzulernen. Zunächst besuchen wir die örtliche Schule, um zu sehen, wie thailändische Kinder ihre morgendliche Routine bewältigen. Danach geht es weiter zu einem Tempel, um den buddhistischen Mönchen der Stadt eine kleine Spende im Austausch für gutes Karma und ein heiliges Armband zu überreichen. Sie haben Zeit, sich in dem farbenfrohen Tempel umzusehen und einige Fotos zu machen.

Nach der ruhigen Atmosphäre des Tempels erhöhen wir das Tempo und versuchen uns an den hochfliegenden Tritten und kraftvollen Schlägen des Muay Thai Boxens. Nach all dieser Action sind Sie bereit für ein typisch thailändisches Mittagessen im Restaurant des Sai Rung Wasserfalls. Am Tsunami-Denkmal haben Sie etwas Zeit zum Nachdenken, bevor Sie in einem nahe gelegenen Schutzgebiet am Meer etwas über die Elefanten lernen können. Zum Abschluss des Tages besuchen Sie das Schildkröten-Rettungs- und Rehabilitationszentrum und erfahren mehr über dessen Arbeit.

Wir hatten praktisch eine Privattour mit 4 Personen. Unser Guide Mike hat uns sehr viel über Land und Leute erzählt und natürlich auch über die entsprechenden Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Tour war sehr interessant und kurzweilig. Auch unser Fahrer Mr. Palm war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Wer etwas Kultur, etwas über den einheimischen Kampfsport erfahren/ausprobieren möchte, und schöne Orte zu Gesicht bekommen will, sowie auch Tiere liebt ist hier genau Richtig. Super informativ, abwechslungsreich, und man fühlt sich wohl. Einfach ein super Ausflug.

Die Tour war schön bis auf den Besuch eines Kinderheims. Wir fanden das die Kinder tressiert wurden uns zu gefallen,sie kamen direkt auf uns zu haben die Hand genommen und nicht mehr los gelassen, wollten nur auf den Arm oder uns umarmen. Ich habe selbst Kinder und kenne viele Familien mit Kindern ,aber noch nie habe ich erlebt das Kinder so zutraulich auf fremde Erwachsene zugehen. Das wirkte schon sehr einstudiert und hat uns nicht gefallen. Dieses Verhalten ist für Kinder nicht normal
