Beschreibung

Lanzarotes Vulkanlandschaft kommt im Timanfaya-Nationalpark besonders gut zur Geltung. Diese Ecke der Insel ist voller rostroter Gipfel und Krater, die wie aus einem Science-Fiction-Film stammen könnten. Und bei Sonnenuntergang ist alles noch dramatischer. Auf diesem Abendausflug erwartet Sie also ein besonderes Highlight. Bevor wir nach Timanfaya aufbrechen, machen wir einen kurzen Halt beim Weingut La Geria. Maria, unser ortskundiger Tourguide, sagt: „Diese Bodega bietet eine herrliche Kulisse aus vulkanischen Weinbergen und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge, während Sie bei einer Weinprobe lokale Sorten probieren.“

Sie fahren auf der berühmten Mondroute des Parks um die sengenden Gipfel, die als Feuerberge bekannt sind. Anschließend genießen Sie einen exklusiven Halt am Aussichtspunkt Montaña a Rajada, bevor Sie El Diablo erreichen, ein rundes Restaurant auf dem Gipfel des Vulkans Islote de Hilario. Entworfen von Lanzarotes renommiertem Architekten Cesar Manrique, bieten die raumhohen Fenster einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick über den Nationalpark.

Timanfaya Volcanic Tour

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio. Cesar Manrique’s Lanzarote tour with Cactus Garden and LagOmar

With its vine-laden lava fields, exuberant architecture and otherworldly landscapes, Lanzarote looks and feels like something from a sci-fi movie set. This exclusive half-day tour takes in the Cesar Manrique Foundation and his Cactus Garden, followed by a visit to LagOmar. Rosa, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Manrique convinced his fellow islanders to invest in tourism without overdevelopment, making sure any human impact is in harmony with our volcanic landscapes.'Manrique was admired by many in his lifetime, and his influence on Lanzarote's culture lives on. Your final stop of the tour will be at LagOmar, a stunning spot that seamlessly combines nature and art. This unique place is set in a volcanic quarry and includes features like a cave-bar, restaurant, and a museum. Local legend has it that Hollywood icon Omar Sharif briefly owned it, only to lose it in a game of cards.
