Embark on an exciting journey from Piano Provenzana, nestled at a lofty 1,800 metres on the northern flank of Mount Etna. Next, venture towards the volcanological observatory, situated at an altitude of 2,818 metres. After disembarking from the vehicles, a short but invigorating 15-minute trek commences. This will lead you to the summit of the Pizzi Deneri promontory, standing tall at 2,850 meters. If the weather permits, you'll be awestruck by panoramic views of the Aeolian Islands, the Jonic coast stretching from Syracuse to Taormina, the gulf of Giardini Naxos and the Calabrian coast.
