Vi starter med et morgenbesøg på en gård nær landsbyen Santa Margalida. Den har specialiseret sig i dyrkning af økologisk aloe vera, den kaktuslignende plante, der er kendt for sine medicinske og helbredende egenskaber. Den bruges som en vigtig ingrediens i produkter til behandling af solskoldning og andre lidelser. Lær alt om disse anvendelsesmuligheder under en guidet rundvisning på plantagen, som beskæftiger lokale og bidrager til den regionale økonomi. Derefter går turen til bakkebyen Arta for at besøge markedet der. Byen krydses af smalle brostensgader med kalkstenshuse med farvede skodder og er en sand fornøjelse at udforske. Elisabeth siger: "Arta er en smuk landsby, og du kan finde masser af lokale delikatesser på markedet. Og Sant Salvador-helligdommen byder på en fantastisk udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab".

    This is the best tour I have been to with Tui so far Plenty of time in each location to enjoy the surroundings Plenty of bathroom breaks timetabled in Short collection time and transfer time Aloe Plantation : full of information, not rushed at all, enteratining Arta Market : Lovely to be able to wander a proper local market and town and be able to enjoy it Arta Caves : Plenty of time to enjoy.     Too many drop offs meant a two hour return journey. Far too much commentary on the coach. Disappointing that the only cost on the trip was €16 to get into the caves means we spent €68 per person just for the coach and guide!

    Keep taking people to markets rather than places of interest take it Arta a crowded market rather than to the church and castle on the hill Also I thought that a trip along the coast would be very nice like Porto cristo.They seem to major on markets markets.

    The arta caves were brilliant, the market was a waste of time & the aloe plantation were just a gap filler, And having so many different nationalities on the tour the guide went through it in all languages which took forever, we won’t go on a another tour.

    Great day for the Aloe Vera plantation, very interesting. Tui guide and guide at the plantation very informative with lots of interesting facts we didn't know about the aloe vera plant. Next stop Arta market, which was very busy but lovely to look round. Could have done with more time there. Lastly onto Arta caves which were different to what we have seen before beautiful inside.

Xisco, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘La Llotja is a 600-year-old medieval exchange. It's free to visit and you can follow its twisting Gothic columns as they wind their way to the ceiling. You can also spot a ‘spy box', where spotters would look down on the crowd to see if anyone was stealing.'Arriving Palma in the early evening, you'll have about five hours to spend in the capital. You can choose to have the evening to yourselves with five hours of free time to wander at your own pace and perhaps find a place to enjoy a meal. Alternatively, you could opt to join a guided tour of the historic city to get some local insight as you weave through the amospheric streets for around 90 minutes. The day rolls to a close with a journey back in time on a wooden train inaugurated in 1912 and still in full working order today. This scenic ride weaves through the Sierra de Tramontanta to Son Reus, where you'll join the transfer back to base.
