Qué te espera

Dos de los lugares más fotogénicos del interior de la Costa Blanca son los protagonistas de esta excursión. Visitará el pueblo de cuento de hadas de Guadalest y las serenas cascadas del Algar. Disfrutará de un paisaje asombroso y de una conducción espectacular mientras serpentea por estrechas carreteras de montaña. Sofía, una de nuestras expertas guías locales, afirma que "aunque no queda mucho en pie del castillo de Guadalest, merece la pena visitarlo porque tiene las mejores vistas. Conseguirás fotos fabulosas del campanario que corona la cresta, del suave embalse que parece una alfombra en el valle y de las montañas que descienden hasta la costa. Incluso se ve el mar".

En primer lugar, Guadalest. La joya de la corona del interior de la Costa Blanca se aferra a un afloramiento rocoso en medio de algunos de los paisajes más románticos imaginables. Pasee por la docena de calles del pueblo, que albergan ocho museos, y atraviese túneles excavados en la roca. A medida que se asciende por las callejuelas empedradas hacia la cima de la cresta, las vistas del valle son cada vez mejores.

A continuación se llega a una de las maravillas naturales de la Costa Blanca: las cascadas del Algar. Con playas de guijarros, profundas pozas azules, canales cubiertos de musgo y estruendosas cascadas, es como un parque acuático natural. Pasee por el sendero hasta las pozas cristalinas del río Algar y admire algunas de las mejores obras de la madre naturaleza. Sofía dice que "el agua aquí es hermosa, limpia y refrescante incluso en pleno verano, porque fluye directamente de las fuentes en lo alto de las montañas".

    Both Guadalest and the falls are beautiful and worth a visit. We would have liked more time in Guadalest to see more of it. The time we had there really wasn’t enough. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
