Krkan kansallispuiston vesiputousten kokopäiväretki Bračista

Jos kaipaat kunnon annosta raikasta ilmaa ja villiä luontoa, Krkan kansallispuisto on juuri oikea paikka. Se on yksi Kroatian upeimmista luonnonhelmistä – täynnä vehreyttä, vesiputouksia ja rauhaa. Paikallisopas Tomislav sanoo: ”Tämä on paratiisi paitsi ihmisille myös 860 kasvilajille ja 240 lintu- ja kalalajille, jotka kutsuvat tätä kodikseen.”Krkan kansallispuisto on suojeltu alue, jossa on vesiputouksia, järviä ja jokivarren kävelyreittejä. Lyhyen esittelyn jälkeen voit viettää päivän kävelemällä puisilla kävelyreiteillä ihaillen maisemia. Puiston kruununjalokivi on kuitenkin Skradinski Buk – valtava luonnon muovaama allas, jossa 17 vesiputousta ryöppyää alas puiden lomasta. Tomislav lisää: ”Skradinski Bukin satumaiset tasanteet ovat syntyneet, kun mineraalipitoiset lähteet ovat vuosien saatossa kerrostaneet travertiinikiveä.”Pysähdyt täällä paikallisessa ravintolassa nauttimassa pientä purtavaa – maisemat ovat sellaiset, että ne jäävät mieleen pitkäksi aikaa. Iltapäivällä onkin sitten vapaata aikaa tutkia puistoa omaan tahtiin. Voit vaikka lähteä bongaamaan eläimiä, sillä satakielet, haikarat, haukat ja pöllöt ovat täällä vakituisia vieraita. Lisäksi vesi on täällä niin kirkasta, että Krka-joessa on helppo bongata kaloja. Jo pelkkä kävely puiston pitkospuilla saa arvostamaan luonnon voimaa ja kauneutta aivan uudella tavalla.
