Hop aboard a super-speedy boat headed to Cozumel Island, where the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and its marine life are waiting. Soak up the breathtaking landscapes before snorkelling at two of the most famous reefs in the southern part of the island, Palancar and Colombia. They're separated by a couple of metres of open water, so you'll have wall-to-wall reef to explore.

Next stop is the shores of El Cielo – which literally means ‘the sky' in English – as it's famous for its peaceful atmosphere and giant starfish population, which you'll find covering much of the ocean floor. You'll also have the chance to see stingrays and other sea creatures during your time here. Afterwards, there'll be some time to relax and check out the views from El Cielito Sandbar, before heading towards the centre of Cozumel.

For lunch, you'll get to try some of the region's typical dishes at a vibrant, local restaurant with an ocean view, before rounding off the day with free time to wander around Cozumel Centre. You've the option of a quick tour here – including a visit to the central clock tower at the heart of the island. Then jump back on the boat to sail back to Playa del Carmen, where your transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Organisatorisch komplett miserabel. In Summe wurden 4/5h verbracht mit rumstehen und warten oder Sinnlos durch die Gegend zu fahren. Einen gescheiten Guide gab es auch nicht und so musste man sich selbst zurecht finden.

Eerste 2 stops voor snorkelen waren zwak, de vissen die we zagen of riffen van de 1ste stop waar we naartoe gingen waren helaas niet wat we ervan verwachte. 2de stop hebben we dan ook enkel en alleen maar zeesterren gezien maar dan ook niets anders. Laatste stop was de enige dat de moeite was met de roggen en barracuda die we zagen. 1 persoonlijk groot minpunt: het feestje op de boot, veel te luide muziek (pijnlijk aan de oren zelfs melding op mijn horloge van +90 deb)

Die Crew hält an einigen Korallenriffen, die von tropischen Fischen und Stachelrochen bewohnt werden • Nach dem Anlegen in Cozumel erwartet Sie eine geführte Tour durch das Zentrum von San Miguel de Cozumel • Das Mittagessen wird in einem Restaurant mit Meerblick serviert, das auf traditionelle lokale Küche spezialisiert ist Diese obengenannten drei Punkte sind alle nicht eingehalten wurden. Für dieses Geld was wir bezahlt haben, ist es nicht wert.

Goed weer of slecht weer de excursie gaat door. Wij hebben de hele dag regen gehad icm onweer aan het begin van de dag. Ook met onweer het bootje op gegaan de zee op. Ik heb op dat moment doodsangsten uitgetsaan en begrijp ook niet dat de excursie niet geannuleerd is. Ik vond het niet verantwoordelijk wat ze deden. Snorkelen op zich zelf was daarin tegen wel weer heel mooi. Wel geeft tui op voorhand aan dat de snorkel uitrusting erbij zit. Je krijgt een bril met snorkel, maar geen flippers.

Misleidende “excursie” eindigt als lawaaierige partyboot – en niemand voelt zich écht verantwoordelijk Op zaterdag 13 september 2025 boekten wij via TUI de excursie “Cozumel guided snorkelling and island tour from Cancun”. Wat werd gepresenteerd als een ontspannen dag vol cultuur en snorkelplezier, bleek in werkelijkheid een schreeuwerige partytrip met drankspelletjes en oorverdovende muziek – totaal ongeschikt voor wie reist met iemand met medische klachten, zoals mijn partner. Diese Ausflug war auch sehr gut organisiert und eben so fließend durchgeführt. Waren viele schöne Unterwasser-Momenten präsentiert. So insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Essen in einheimische Restaurant war auch sehr lecker. Aber die Preisen für Foto und Videoaufnahme sind extrem übertrieben teuer. Es wird einfach ausgenutzt, dass die Touriesten die Erlebnis-Momente mitnehmen möchten.
