Retken kuvaus

Lanzaroten legenda Cesar Manrique jätti jälkensä kaikkialle saarelle, mutta erityisesti pohjoiseen. Arkkitehti sai inspiraationsa alueen poikkeuksellisesta geologiasta. Tällä kierroksella tutustutaan kolmeen hänen teokseensa - Cueva de los Verdes -luoliin, Jameos del Aguaan ja Mirador del Rioon. David, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Saaren pohjoisosa oli Manriquen paletin kankaana. Kuten hänellä oli tapana sanoa: "Pohjoinen on edelleen perinteinen Lanzarote".

Ensimmäisenä vuorossa ovat Vihreät luolat, joiden sokkeloinen käytävien ja portaiden labyrintti vie sinut luonnonmukaiseen auditorioon. Nämä luolat - joita on tähän mennessä löydetty 16 - ovat ilmakuplia, joita yhdistää tulivuorenpurkauksen aiheuttaman laavavirran synnyttämä tunneli. Manrique oli mukana kehittämässä luolastoa kävijöitä varten. Hänen käden jälkensä on vielä selvempi Jameos del Aguassa. A disappointing start to the day, we missed breakfast for a 8.10 pickup to find after a large number of stops we had to swop coaches at Teguise some two hours later. The swop coach was delayed and there was a total mix up on European speaking numbers so eventually we ended back on our original coach. We left Teguise to arrive at our first stop an Aloe Vera sales pitch, not impressed! We finally arrived at the caves after 3.5 hours on the road! The rest of the day was good but rushed.

Die Anreise war eine Zumutung.Der Reiseleiter war schwer zu verstehen. Die Aufenthalte waren zu kurz. Das Mittagessen war reine Massenabfertigung. Für uns enttäuschend.

Chaos bei der Abfahrt. Wir hatten die Deutschte Tour geplant und waren auf der Englischsprachigen eingeteilt. Der Deutsche Tour Guide sagte er habe in seinem Bus keinen Platz mehr u. wir sollen mit dem Englisch Guide Bus fahren der mehr Plätze hätte, Dann kam der Vorschlag die Englische Gruppe soll den Bus mit der Deutschen Gruppe wechseln, da die Deutsche Gruppe größer war. Was sie mürrisch getan haben. Das ganze Theater viel auf uns zurück. Unser Guide hat das Beste daraus gemacht
