Retken kuvaus

Tällä Serra de Tramuntana -vuoriston retkellä yhdistyvät historia ja kauniit maisemat. Xisco, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Juna on Sollerin asukkaiden ylpeys. Koska heidän kyläänsä oli niin vaikea päästä vuorten takaa, he rakensivat sata vuotta sitten rautatien omilla rahoillaan päästäkseen Palmaan myymään kuuluisia appelsiinejaan."

Retkipäivä alkaa Valldemossasta, joka on Tramuntana-vuoriston sydämessä sijaitseva kivitalojen rypäs.     Sollerissa pysähtymisaika liian lyhyt ja paikallisjunan kokemus jäi kokematta mutta oma junamatka liian hyväksi kehuttu??

    Hienot vuoristomaisemat ja-kylät. Ystävällisiä ja huomaavaisia ihmisiä. Historiallisia, hienoja rakennuksia. Loistava kivirakentaminen sykähdytti. Noutava bussi oli myöhässä n. 20 min. Oppaan kielet englanti ja saksa. Emme saaneet selvää esim. aikatauluista. Meille tuli väärinymmärrystä Sollerin junan lähtöajasta. Kaikki kuitenkin sujui hyvin.

    Leuke daguitstap gehad met tui. Hele goede gids, Manu die werkelijk non stop uitleg over het eiland en onze bestemmingen gaf. Het pitoreske Valledemossa is prachtig. Alleen wat te weinig tijd daar maar dat is meestal het geval! Omver geblazen door de prachtige uitzichten bij Son Marroig. Het mooie Soller was de perfecte plaats om heerlijk te lunchen en even rond te kuieren. De treinrit terug is een mooie afsluiter van een dag vol prachtige panorama's.

    Toller Guide (Manu) er konnte sehr viel spannendes über das Land und die besuchte Region erzählen und nahm immer Rücksicht auf gehbehinderte Teilnehmer der Gruppe.Es war ausreichend Zeit die besuchten Orte zu erkunden.Wir hatten einen erfahrenen Busfahrer der die anspruchsvolle Strecke (kurvig) sicher meisterte.Schade fand ich das wir Vorort nur über die App buchen konnten was für ältere Menschen tatsächlich nicht so einfach ist.

    The guide Mano was really good. He was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and very friendly and approachable. He was very efficient and the day ran smoothly with no problems. Soller and Valldemossa were beautiful places and the highlight was the train trip. The only slight negative was the lack of toilets in the monastery/palace. Had to queue for ages in one of the cafés. Overall we would recommend this trip

    I think a little more time in solller would have been good. It’s got the tram to go to the harbour but you don’t get enough time to do it. Whether that means you miss out the house/museum to get more time..
