Explore the beauty and history of Japan on a full-day trip to Miyajima and Hiroshima, setting off from Shin-Osaka Station. The journey begins with a ride aboard the Shinkansen, Japan’s high-speed train. Upon reaching Hiroshima, a local guide awaits at Hiroshima Station to commence the tour.

The first stop is Miyajima Island, home to the floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the tranquil shrine grounds and admire the sight of the gate emerging from the sea — a spectacle that becomes particularly mesmerising during high tide. In spring, the scenery is further enhanced by the bloom of cherry blossoms.

Following this visit, a ferry transports you back to the mainland, offering panoramic views of the coast and shrine from the water. The excursion then continues to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a poignant site dedicated to the victims of the 1945 atomic bombing. Here, take time to reflect at the Atomic Bomb Dome and absorb Hiroshima’s message of peace.

Arrive early at Shin-Osaka Station to board the train smoothly. You’ll travel on your own, as the guide will not join you on the train. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, your guide will be waiting outside Hiroshima station, at the Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth, with an Amigo Tours sign.
