Very well informed guide who made our trip enjoyable. She had lots of information about Cape Verde & the marine life. My 5 year old son was also included in the informing part and some of this was adapted to his level of understanding. Pricing could possibly be lower for children.

A wonderful trip! Melvin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable. As a family we were really happy with the trip. I was pleased with Melvin’s approach to the ethical way of showing the tourists the lemon sharks (not feeding them in the day time). A must do trip x

We absolutely loved the experience. The marine biologist guides were friendly, really well-informed and they were clearly passionate about the sharks. The wade out to the sharks was a bit tricky - It is quite rocky and slippery, so beach shoes are a must. The sharks were amazing - They were super friendly, quite inquisitive and not shy of having their photos taken! The only disappointing bit was the large unofficial groups that were there, sloshing bits of dead fish around.

Really great trip. Carlos our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions whilst we were out with the sharks. Very respectful that we were going into their territory and we felt it was as a very ethical trip.

Our guide Lyn(Lin?) was fabulous! Super friendly,explained what we would be doing,how long it would take etc etc The experience itself was incredible,we learnt not only about the sharks themselves but Lyn gave us a great insight into the local history and culture as well. Absolutely loved how passionate Lyn was,not just about the sharks,but about marine conservation in general. So glad we went with Tui and an ethical and ecologically minded guide. 100% recommend.
