Ce qui vous attend

Du niveau de la mer jusqu'à une haute altitude, cette excursion a un petit goût d'aventure. Vous partirez en 4x4 en direction des montagnes de l'Atlas, depuis les plaines côtières d'Agadir pour découvrir le village berbère d'Imouzzer Ida Outanane. Jamal, l'un de nos guides locaux experts, raconte : "Imouzzer signifie "cascade" en berbère, la langue parlée dans les montagnes de l'Atlas. Il y a en effet plusieurs cascades au cœur de notre vallée verte, particulièrement renommée pour la qualité de son miel."

Votre aventure vers le Haut Atlas commence par un petit-déjeuner léger et une pause photos à l'oasis de Tamzargout. Fraîche et recouverte de palmiers, nous pourrons nous y dégourdir les jambes. En continuant notre route, les paysages des montagnes et de la vallée du Paradis ne manqueront pas de vous enthousiasmer. Nous arriverons à Immouzer pour en apprendre plus sur la vie d'une communauté berbère dans les montagnes. Lorsqu'il fait chaud, vous pourriez observer des enfants plonger dans des piscines naturelles depuis des rochers en périphérie du village.

En vous baladant dans le village, vous passerez devant des étals vendant des souvenirs marocains et le miel local primé. Jamal ajoute : "Ma mère préparait une friandise artisanale appelée "amlou", préparé à base de miel d'Imouzzer mélangé à des amandes écrasées et de l'huile d'argan, une véritable gourmandise berbère." Vous dégusterez ensuite un repas en plein air le midi préparé à base d'ingrédients locaux et frais. Vous disposerez d'un peu de temps libre pour vous détendre et profiter du cadre spectaculaire avant de retourner à Agadir en empruntant une autre route à travers les montagnes.

Transport a little crowded with 3 adults on back seat. Glad to get out foe the visits and walking part of the trip. Guide was great and very knowledgeable, meals included were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast.

The trip was a little more expensive than some, but using 4x4's in the Atlas Mountains made more things possible. the views were unforgettable, the family I shared my car with were good fun. It was also nice to get out and do some walking too. The guide got the balance right in terms of information without over doing it. I would recommend this trip.

From sea level to high altitude, this is a full day trip with a side-order of adventure. You'll travel by 4x4 into the Atlas Mountains from the coastal plains of Agadir to discover the Berber village of Imouzzer Ida Outanane. Jamal, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Imouzzer means “waterfall” in Berber, the language of the Atlas Mountains. Indeed, there are several waterfalls in the heart of our green valley, a place known especially for the quality of its honey.'Your High Atlas Mountains off-road adventure begins with a light breakfast and then a photo stop at the cool, palm-clad Tamzargout oasis, where you can stretch our legs. As we travel higher up into the mountains, the jaw-dropping views over Paradise Valley are sure to leave an impression. We'll arrive in the village of Immouzer to see how life in a typical Berber mountain community unfolds. On hot days, you might see local kids jumping off the rocks into the natural pools just outside the village.As you stroll around the village, you'll pass stalls selling Moroccan souvenirs and the prized local honey. Jamal says, ‘My mother used to prepare an artisanal treat known as “amlou”, made with Immouzer honey mixed with crushed almonds and argan oil, a real Berber delicacy.' Next it's time for an al fresco lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You'll have some free time to relax and take in your dramatic surroundings before we return to Agadir through a different route in the mountains.

You'll travel from Agadir to see some of the city's highlights, experience Djemaa el-Fna by night, dine in an opulent riad and check out the seaside city of Essaouira on your way back. Ibrahim, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘I was born and bred in Essaouira, but my family moved away when I was 14. Now, when I return, I'm filled with nostalgia as I tour the alleys where I used to play football with my Arab and Jewish friends. Essaouira has always been a multicultural melting pot.'On day one, we'll hit the road to Marrakech, where on arrival you'll delve straight into the medina's warren of tightly-packed streets. Spend the morning taking in sights as we drop by places like Jardin Secret, before lunch at Dar Nejarine. After some free time to explore, we'll head to Djemaa el-Fna at dusk – the best time to see it – before a tasty dinner and traditional entertainment in a riad.On day two we'll head to the coastal city of Essaouira. Its mellow atmosphere, narrow winding streets laden with kaleidoscopic carpets, peeling-paint houses with and heavy old wooden doors make it a wonderful place to wander around. Walk the ramparts of the harbour, known as the Skala, where electric-blue boats bob in the water, or discover the atmospheric medina. There's a lunch stop included followed by free time to explore, before returning to Agadir in the early evening.

There's no more Moroccan way to go sightseeing than on the back of a camel. And with this 90-minute ride, you'll be at one with nature as well. You'll be transferred to the north of Agadir where you'll enjoy a slow and steady journey through a banana plantation and one of the city's most picture-postcard beaches. We'll head to a ranch around an hours drive from Agadir to start, where you'll be partnered with a camel between two people. Then, the adventure begins. The camel trail takes you through trails sprinkled with exotic landscapes and sandy dunes. It's a route the whole family will enjoy.Over the 90-minute trip, you'll enjoy a privileged view over the countryside, passing through a banana plantation, as well as have the chance to spot wildlife in its natural surroundings. Palm-lined gorges and a bustling market town nestled beneath the western Atlas Mountains are just what you can expect from this day trip from Agadir. You'll visit Immouzer, well-known for its Thursday market, and Paradise Valley, which is just as beautiful as its name suggests.You'll head out of Agadir towards Immouzer stopping along the way to take in the verdant landscape of Tamzargout oasis and enjoy a short walk through the olive grove. Once we arrive at Immouzer, we'll take you to see the waterfall the town is famous for, where you have some free time to wander around. Note that drought has affected the waterfall – it's now known for its natural plunge pool.We'll return into the centre of Immouzer to visit the souk that comes alive every Thursday when locals from the surrounding villages come and trade goods. After some time shopping for spice sets and handmade souvenirs, you'll start the drive back to Agadir.
