Wij hadden een leuke en enthousiaste gids die ons op een prachtige en avontuurlijke route mee nam door de prachtige rijstvelden en ons van alles over de flora en fauna vertelde en het leven hier. Ook had deze gids een heerlijke humor. We zijn ook bij de heilige bron en de tempels geweest wat ook een leuke ervaring is en je hieraan ook deel kan nemen. We hebben ook gezien hoe o.a sieraden gemaakt worden, hoe prachtige houten beelden gemaakt worden etc. Kortom een leuke en afwisselende dag!!
Bali's spiritual heartland is a world away from the island's main resorts. Expect art galleries, sprawling markets and holy spring waters.
First up are Ubud's must-see galleries, housing collections from both Balinese and international artists. After, you'll have free time to explore the local market. Browse the many stalls selling Balinese handicrafts and textiles. Then we'll take a scenic route past the Tegallalang rice fields before finally reaching Tampaksiring with its holy spring waters.
On the way back, we'll stop at Batuan village to see a traditional house. Cap off the tour with a visit to Tohpati, an art and craft village famous for ‘batik'. You'll see the traditional form of painting fabrics using dots and lines from wax in action.
