Cette visite vous propose de vous amuser et de vous détendre au milieu des paysages en technicolor de la Turquie. Elle combine une demi-journée de balade en tout-terrain dans des villages préservés et une demi-journée de balade en bateau autour de baies et d'îles. Omer, l'un de nos guides locaux experts, explique : "Coincé entre la péninsule de Bodrum au nord et Datça au sud, le golfe de Gökova, aussi appelé "golfe de Céramique", est la plus belle illustration de la côte turquoise de la Turquie."

Vous commencez la journée en traversant le pays sur des pistes tout-terrain, où la Turquie authentique se dévoile sous vos yeux. La piste traverse la forêt de pins et longe le littoral avec des vues sur les îles, les criques et les montagnes de Mugla. Vous découvrirez des villages ancestraux tels que Yeşilbelde et Karaca, avant d'arriver au port de Camli pour la prochaine étape de l'itinéraire. Vous mettez ensuite le cap sur l'île de Sedir, dans le golfe de Gokova. Omer explique : "Le golfe de Gokova compte l'île de Sedir, aussi appelée l'île de Cléopâtre, où la légende veut que le sable ait été apporté de la mer Rouge sur ses ordres. Ce sable soyeux a certainement mis des millions d'années à se former".

Vous pouvez choisir de rester sur le bateau pour vous détendre, de vous baigner ou bien de payer afin de suivre votre guide sur l'île de Cléopâtre pour voir ses ruines et profiter de temps pour explorer cette plage unique. Après une baignade, vous naviguez autour des îles environnantes, en passant devant des criques et des baies isolées. L'ancre est jetée à Lacivert Cove et sur l'île de Tavsan, alors profitez-en pour faire quelques petites siestes, pour vous imprégner de la beauté du paysage ou pour déconnecter dans un bon bouquin.

Dalyan Riverboat Tour with Lunch and Iztuzu Beach

Surrounding yourself with natural beauty on a river cruise from Dalyan is a great way to unwind. One of Turkey's most pristine beaches is the destination, with stops at mud baths and a riverside restaurant en route. Ceren, one of our local guides, says, ‘Iztuzu Beach is also known as Turtle Beach because endangered loggerhead turtles nest here. It's a magical spot with very little human interference. The beach was all set to be developed with new resorts in the 1980s, but luckily conservation was prioritised.'Sail down the Dalyan River on an eco-friendly boat – which doesn't harm marine life – and have fun smoothing on the anti-ageing clay at the mud baths. It's great for glowing skin, and it's believed that Cleopatra visited for a pampering soak in the mineral-rich liquid mud. Finish with a dip in the warm sulphur pool before gliding across the river for a freshly prepared lunch of local dishes. You'll then add a little history and culture to the mix, as you continue on the riverboat past Lycian Rock Tombs – dating back to 400BC – carved into the cliffs.As the river widens into a lagoon, you'll have the chance to spot birdlife before docking at Iztuzu Beach. This 4km-long sweep of golden sand divides the river from the sea, a natural oasis that's a true haven for wildlife. Sheltered by mountains, the beach shelves gently into a calm bay, where an afternoon of pure relaxation beckons. Round off your day with the return relaxing river cruise to Dalyan.
