Retrouvez votre guide sur la Piazza del Duomo et prenez l'ascenseur jusqu'au toit. Vous pourrez y admirer la magnificence de l'architecture gothique milanaise, avec ses arcs-boutants et plus de 3 400 statues. Montez 50 marches supplémentaires pour atteindre le point culminant, d'où, par temps clair, les Alpes se dessinent au loin.

La visite se termine devant la statue dorée de la Vierge Marie avant d'entrer sans attendre dans la cathédrale. Devant l'entrée de la librairie Mondadori, sous les arcades à gauche du Duomo, à l'angle de la Via Mazzini. Votre guide tiendra une pancarte avec l'inscription « Wander in Italy » et le nom de la visite. Veuillez vous présenter au moins 15 minutes avant l'heure de départ prévue.

Sachez à l'avance :

  • En raison du renforcement des mesures de sécurité, des files d'attente peuvent se former à l'entrée du Duomo. De plus, l'accès à l'église est soumis à des règles strictes. Les objets pouvant constituer une menace pour la sécurité ne seront pas autorisés.
  • Le complexe monumental pourrait fermer l'ascenseur utilisé pour la descente pour des raisons de sécurité ; dans ce cas, la descente se fera par des escaliers
  • Un code vestimentaire est exigé pour entrer dans les lieux de culte. Genoux et épaules couverts pour les hommes comme pour les femmes.
  • Il y a jusqu'à 50 marches à monter ou à descendre, des chaussures confortables sont donc recommandées
  • L'ascenseur a une capacité maximale de 7 personnes, il peut donc y avoir une file d'attente pour monter sur le toit
