Visitez le Museo di Capodimonte avec ses chefs-d'œuvre des collections Farnèse et Borbone. Le musée conserve également une série de peintures provenant d'églises napolitaines, parmi lesquelles deux œuvres du Caravage.

Admirez la collection Farnèse, commencée par Alessandro Farnèse (plus tard le pape Paul III), qui a deux branches : la collection romaine avec des œuvres de Raphaël, Sebastiano Del Piombo, Titien, El Greco, les frères Carracci et Botticelli et la collection Parmesan - importante Peintures flamandes et œuvres de peintres de la région d'Émilie.

La collection Farnèse a été héritée par Charles de Bourbon et s'est enrichie au cours de deux siècles d'importantes acquisitions de l'âge de Bourbon, formant ce qu'on appelle aujourd'hui la "Collezione Borbone".
