Ce qui vous attend

"Variété" est le maître mot de cette excursion très contrastée. Renouez avec la nature dans la célèbre réserve naturelle de la Vallée des Papillons, avant de visiter l'île de Chalki, préservée et paisible.

Dans la matinée, nous traverserons l'intérieur fertile de Rhodes en direction du sanctuaire écologique de la vallée des Papillons. Vous pourrez vous promener dans la forêt, parmi les cascades et les étangs riches en faune. De la mi-juin à la mi-septembre, on y trouve des centaines de milliers de papillons Callimorpha, attirés par la résine des arbres storax. Un spectacle inoubliable qui s'offre à vous.

Ensuite, nous retournerons sur la côte pour prendre le bateau pour naviguer vers Chalki. Sur cette île endormie reposent de jolies maisons dispersées autour du port où les petits bateaux de pêche sont amarrés. Vous pouvez vous promener pour profiter de cette île idyllique et découvrir la vie traditionnelle grecque. Du temps libre est prévu dans l'après-midi pour vous baigner dans les eaux claires de Chalki.

Très belle journée dans l ensemble sauf que difficile car le guide ne parle que l' anglais alors qu'on nous avait dit que les guides sont francophones Au bateau, on nous a parqué comme du bétail pas très agréable

1 heure à la vallée des papillons ce n'est pas beaucoup et ça mange du temps à passer sur l'île de Chalki. Il voudrait mieux juste proposer Chalki seulement et faire une autre excursions Vallée des papillons et autre chose mais rester bien 3h à la vallée des papillons.
