In the morning, reach Montignac where the world famous cave of Lascaux IV is located. Visit the brand-new Lascaux IV International Center of Parietal Art: a feat of technology, the museum employs different set designs, displays, state-of-the-art interactive workshops and immersive technology that allows you to experience the cave as it was first found in 1940.
Then, you're headed to Sarlat la Canéda. The town withstood the test of time - and war! - and is one of the town’s most representative of 14th century France. Highlights of the town include the Lantern of the Dead, Saint Sacerdos Cathedral, Saint Mary church and covered market, the house of La Boétie and so much more. Your guide will take you on a short walking tour before some free time for lunch in Sarlat la Canéda.
Finally, arrive in Beynac to admire the village and the Castle. The medieval construction is perched on top of a limestone cliff, dominating the town and the north bank of the Dordogne River.
