Cosa aspettarsi

Baie appartate, foreste di pini e piccoli villaggi di pescatori che decorano la costa: il paesaggio della penisola di Sithonia non stanca mai. Ma in questo tour di un'intera giornata, andremo oltre il suo bell'aspetto e sveleremo i segreti della regione. Ci saranno visite a villaggi tradizionali e soste fotografiche, oltre alla degustazione di miele locale.

Passando accanto a filari di ulivi verso il villaggio di Parthenonas, potrete immergervi in tutti i colori di Sithonia. Vi verranno mostrati i punti migliori per scattare foto e avrete anche del tempo libero per un caffè. In seguito, si farà tappa al villaggio di Torononi per una breve sosta fotografica e poi si farà scalo al porto di Porto Koufo.

Avrete la possibilità di nuotare e prendere il sole quando arriveremo al villaggio costiero di Sarti. Rilassatevi in riva al mare o scegliete di pranzare in una taverna in riva al mare per completare la giornata. Per concludere la vostra esperienza a Sithonia, andremo a Nikiti, dove potrete assaggiare il delizioso miele di pino locale.

Halkidiki boat trip with Neos Marmaras visit, swimming and lunch

Slow down and ease into a day where you'll escape the crowds and experience a little laidback luxury as you cruise around the western shore of Halkidiki's Sithonia Peninsula. Helene, a local guide, says “this tour takes us to some of my favourite spots. Spathies Beach has secluded coves without the usual hustle and bustle of the resorts, while Neos Marmaras offers a balance of cosy tavernas and traditional Greek charm, with modern bars and facilities.” You'll head to Nikiti Port where your boat awaits. From here, you'll sail down the coast of the Toroneos Gulf before dropping anchor at Spathies Beach for your first swim stop. Helene adds, “make sure you grab a snorkel and mask to make the most of this hotspot for parrotfish and damselfish – you may find an octopus hiding in rocky reefs, too.” Then, it's back on board to sail towards Neos Marmaras Village.There's free time for a wander around the village, where you can shop for souvenirs or chat with the friendly locals – it's the best way to soak up the culture. Then, you'll return to the sea and sail to Kelyfos Island, affectionally known as Turtle Island, while enjoying a light lunch on board. The cliffs of this tiny island make for some curious-looking cave formations at its edge that beg to be explored. Take the plunge off the side of the boat and swim around this uninhabited land. Or, if your idea of fun is simply basking on the deck with some music and a cold drink in hand, then feel free to unwind. Whatever floats your boat, you'll want to drink in the coastal views as you sail back to the harbour after a day of escapism.

Toroneos Gulf & Turtle Island Boat Cruise

A day at sea to blow the cobwebs away has holiday stamped all over it. Setting sail from the port of Chrousso, you'll glide along the Kassandra and Sithonia peninsulas – dotted with beautiful islands made up of pine trees and bleached white beaches. You'll also stop by Neos Marmaras and Kelifos Island on this relaxing boat trip.Your destination is Toroni, where you'll be able to have fun and games on the beach or just chill out and top up your tan. There'll be a snack provided once you're back on board, while the skipper navigates to Neos Marmaras. One of the biggest ports in Halkidiki, you'll have time here to explore the town and hit the shops.There's a one last stop during the afternoon at Kelifos Island.
