Con una visita al laboratorio di un artigiano di maschere a Mamoiada, nel cuore della Sardegna, potrete ascoltare la storia delle maschere di Mamuthones e Issohadores, raccontata da chi ogni giorno trasforma un pezzo di legno in quello che è diventato il simbolo della carnevale in sardegna. A Mamoiada le maschere sono ancora realizzate come una volta: leggere, indossabili, tinte di nero, con le sopracciglia accigliate e la bocca contratta in una smorfia di dolore. La guida e artigiano vi mostrerà il suo suggestivo laboratorio, dove seguirete le varie fasi della lavorazione, dal tronco alla maschera. Vedrete nascere pezzi unici, realizzati a mano, in varie tipologie di legno sardo, dal perastro al leccio.
