Cosa aspettarsi

La giornata inizia guidando da Reykjavik allo storico Parco nazionale di Thingvellir, dove si incontrano le placche tettoniche americane ed eurasiatiche. Sperimenterai una sensazione davvero unica di avere un piede in due posti diversi. Successivamente, viaggia verso la famosa sorgente termale Geyser. Strokkur, un'altra sorgente termale, si trova nelle vicinanze ed è ancora molto attiva oggi, eruttando fino a 30 metri di altezza ogni pochi minuti. Nell'area Geyser, avrai anche il tempo di acquistare il pranzo o degli snack.

La prossima tappa dell'agenda è la cascata di Gullfoss, conosciuta anche come la cascata d'oro. Una delle attrazioni turistiche più popolari in Islanda, Gullfoss ti stupirà con la sua potenza e bellezza, precipitando per 32 metri in un aspro canyon. Queste tre attrazioni completano il classico Golden Circle, ma non è tutto ciò che sperimenterai!

Potrai anche fermarti al Kerid Volcanic Crater, un cratere di 3000 anni che è profondo 55 metri e offre una vista davvero unica del paesaggio islandese. Successivamente, visiterai finalmente l'iconica Laguna Blu, dove potrai trascorrere il resto della giornata rilassandoti e distendendoti nelle acque calde naturali. Goditi le fantastiche strutture lì prima di tornare alle luci brillanti di Reykjavik.
