La penisola di Snæfellsnes è un'area incredibilmente ricca di bellezze naturali, cultura e storia. La penisola è spesso conosciuta come “l'Islanda in miniatura” perché qui si trova la maggior parte delle attrazioni del paese.

In questo tour per piccoli gruppi di Snæfellsnes, visiterai tutti i luoghi imperdibili in un'esperienza più intima, massimizzando il tuo tempo sulla penisola. Il tour inizierà con una sosta ai campi di lava di Berserkjahraun, prima di dirigersi alle cascate di Kirkjufell, da dove potrai ammirare una splendida vista del Monte Kirkjufell. La tua prossima tappa sarà presso la spiaggia di basalto nero di Djúpalónssandur, dove potrai avvistare fossili di uccelli e pesci, e ti fermerai a vedere i pinnacoli di Lóndrangar e le scogliere di basalto. Visiterai quindi il vulcano subglaciale Snæfellsjökull, risalente a 700.000 anni fa, un vulcano iniziale splendidamente formato, ricoperto di ghiaccio e visto da Reykjavík in una bella giornata. Poi ti dirigerai al villaggio di pescatori di Arnarstapi che si è sviluppato nel corso degli anni fino a diventare un grande porto di spedizione e imparerai a conoscere le storie islandesi di Bárður che era metà uomo e metà orco.

Ti fermerai quindi per scattare fantastiche foto all'idilliaca Chiesa Nera di Búðir e, infine, alla spiaggia di Ytri Tunga, per cercare le colonie di foche.
