Cosa fare a Torzym

Situated in western Poland along the Ilanka creek, the small town of Torzym offers travelers the perfect location to break, relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Torzym may not be as popular as other destinations in Poland, but it is definitely worth a visit!The area was formed as a part of Poland in the 10th century due to its location on the trade route between Frankfurt (Oder) and Poznan, receiving its town privileges in 1375. From 1871 to 1945 the town became a part of Germany and was later returned to Poland after being heavily damaged in the final weeks of World War II.Be sure to check out the the surrounding areas of Torzym including Jezioro Jasne, Jezioro Garbicz and Malcz Południowy lake. Then travel to the Rezerwat Przyrody Dolina Ilanki Nature reserve and park where you can rent a kayak and discover the natural scenery. Vacationing with some little ones? Head over to Majaland Kownaty theme park, a mere 4½ km north of Torzym.
