De stad Terezín diende tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog als een Joods concentratiekamp. Het werd aan het einde van de 18e eeuw gesticht door keizer Joseph II als een fort om het koninkrijk Bohemen te beschermen. De geschiedenis van Terezín is belangrijk en interessant. Hoor hoe in 1940 de Duitse Gestapo de controle over de stad overnam en Terezín werd veranderd in een Joods getto.

Tijdens je bezoek kom je meer te weten over de Tweede Wereldoorlog en de impact ervan op Europa. Je bezoekt het kleine fort van Terezín en musea in het grote fort. Aan het einde van de tour is er vervoer naar het centrum van Praag.
