Silfra Fissure är en av Islands mest eftertraktade snorklingsplatser. Beläget i hjärtat av Thingvellir nationalpark, ser denna smala kanal av blått vatten slingrande genom ett gigantiskt lavafält inte ut som mycket på ytan. Men nedan utgör övernaturliga nyanser av blått, perfekt synlighet och otroliga bergformationer ett magiskt undervattenlevande paradis. Njut av en fantastisk snorklingsupplevelse när du driftar lugnt i bekvämligheten av en varmt isolerad torrdräkt tillsammans med våra högkvalificerade guider. Silfra, ofta rankad som en av världens topp tio dykplatser, ligger mellan tektoniska plattorna i Europa och Amerika. Med upp till 100 meter undervattenssikt, Silfra är verkligen en fascinerande plats, som inte får missas av någon snorklare, erfaren eller inte.

Vad du ska komma ihåg

Deltagarna måste vara minst 12 år eller äldre
Vänligen ta med: varma långkalsonger, helst fleece/ull (ingen bomull!), varma yllestrumpor och ett ombyte (för det fall att).
Bär du glasögon? Du kommer att bära snorkling glasögon i vattnet och du kommer inte att kunna bära dina glasögon under. Så om du inte tar med egna receptbelagda glasögon rekommenderar vi att du förvärvar kontaktlinser för din snorklingstur.
Vad är snorkling? Deltagarna simmar i specialgjorda torrdräkter genom det kristallklara vattnet. Vi andas genom snorklar för att ha en fri utsikt över landskapet under vattennivån.

Excellent experience, picked up on time outside our hotel. Scenic journey to location. All kit provided but a little cold changing in the elements. Very good guide/instructor called Ioannis (John). He fully briefed us and supported us along the way, also taking photos which are free to download afterwards. Very enjoyable and would recommend.

Trip was outsourced to 'Arctic Adventure's so the review is for them not TUI ... indeed, the TUI rep was of no use guiding us to the correct transport, and we could have saved money by booking direct. Artic Adventures were brilliant, we had a geologist driving the bus who was full of info and entertaining. Our snorkelling guide was Mino, looked after our small group perfectly. Thoroughly recommend booking this tour, but go direct.

Would be better if there was somewhere other than oursite to change into the dry suit. But it didn't ruin the experience. Really unique experience and beautiful to visit. Would highly reccomend to anyone.
