Att göra – Jungfraujoch
Jungfraujoch är en imponerande glaciärsadel i Bernalperna, i Schweiz, som förbinder två igenkännliga bergstoppar, Jungfrau och Mönch. Platsen kan nås från Interlaken vid Jungfrau-linjen, en järnväg som går delvis genom Eiger-berget. Byggandet av järnvägslinjen startade 1896 och är en av de mest kända schweiziska turistattraktionerna. Tåget åker i en tunnel med två hållplatser på fem minuter vardera, under vilken passagerarna kan gå av och observera panoramat från stora fönster byggda i sidan av galleriet.
Toppen av Jungfraujoch erbjuder dess besökare en panoramautsikt över evig is och snö, och majestätiska berg. Förutom att beundra den imponerande utsikten, kan resenärer njuta av en paus i en av restaurangerna på toppen av Europa-byggnaden, besök den högsta järnvägsstationen i Europa eller gå i glacialtunnlarna inne på Ispalatset.
