  • Swim in the crystal-clear water of the Aegean Sea
  • Enjoy 7 hours to explore the island, the beaches, and the beach bars
  • Take advantage of a rountrip transfer to and from the port of Rafina
What to expect

Do you only have one day and would like to explore a destination other than Athens, join this full day tour with a roundtrip transfer and see the most famous Greek island that is Mykonos!

Grab the chance to stroll through the narrow streets among the whitewashed stone houses that compose the unique character of the myconian architecture. The tour starts from Athens city center. Your guide will pick you up either from your hotel or from specific pick-up points. Once pick-up has been completed, the coach heads to Rafina, where your ferry departs from.

Enjoy the ferry ride as you make your way to the Greek island. Upon arrival at the port of Mykonos, you will hop onto a local sea bus and travel to the city center where you will begin your walking tour. See the historical monuments such as Paraportiani church, Little Venice of Mykonos, and the famous windmills. The walking tour includes a stroll in the labyrinths of the city with the whitewashed lanes and the wooden balconies hanging over their heads.

After the walking tour, you'll have some free time to explore the island by yourself, go swimming, have lunch, or relax under the sun.

Your tour leader will meet you at a specified point around 14:50 where you will make your way back to the port to begin your journey back to Athens. At the port of Rafina, you will be picked up by the driver who will drop you back to either one of the designated central points or at your hotel late in the evening where your tour ends.

Private Athens Tour with Acropolis and Plaka

The ancient Greeks left behind a treasure trove of monuments, statues and artefacts in Athens. And on this private tour, you'll take in all the top spots with an expert guide. Exclusively for you and your party, you'll tour highlights including the Roman Agora, Hadrian's Library, the Plaka neighbourhood and the UNESCO-listed Acropolis. Vassiliki, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Acropolis means “high city” and it usually refers to any settlement built on top of a hill. You'll find many towns in Greece that have an acropolis, but the Acropolis of Athens is certainly the most famous.'You'll start with a guided tour of the Acropolis – with skip-the-line tickets, there'll be no waiting around. Soak up wow-factor views over Athens at the Areopagus – a rocky hill where legend has it the Greek gods would hold court. Let your guide bring history to life as you marvel at ancient landmarks like the Roman Agora, the Theatre of Dionysus and the still-standing columns of the Asklepieion and Parthenon. Then, it's on to the city's Instagram-worthy old quarter, Plaka – the capital's most appealing and historic neighbourhood. Always thronged with a mix of locals and visitors, the pedestrianised lanes are brimming with tavernas whose tables spill onto the streets. Vassiliki says, ‘Athenians call this area “the neighbourhood of the Gods,' as it has been inhabited since the days of ancient Greece. In fact, excavations show that the street layout has barely changed since antiquity.'
