Things to do in The Pont du Gard
With more than 1.5 million visitors each year, The Pont du Gard is the most visited ancient monument in France. Built in the 1st century AD, this 50-meter high and 273-meter long Roman aqueduct is a Unesco World Heritage Site. This place is one of the most spectacular Roman monuments that remain in France and the only ancient 3-stage bridge still standing! At its feet flows the Gardon, a relaxing and swimming haven in summer. Music festivals, events, exhibitions, workshops, visits are organized throughout the year.
