Things to do in Cheverny Castle
Located between Blois and Chambord and a few kilometres below Cheverny village, the Cheverny castle is one of the best preserved castles in France. The visitors are in a awe of its classical and Renaissance architecture, its sumptuously furnished interior and its botanical park.
The castle was designed by Jacques Bougier who was also the architect of Blois and it has remained in the Hurault family for more than six centuries.
Being one of the most famous and most visited castles of the Loire Valley, the Castle also served as a inspiration for the castle of Moulinsart, owned by Captain Haddock, in the comics The Adventures of Tintin of Hergé.

Reviews Cheverny Castle
“Un guía de primera. Puntual respetuoso y conocedor de todos los lugares a los cuales nos llevó.El tiempo asignado para cada castillo es el adecuado.Volveríamos a tomar otro de sus tours.”
“Tour was well organized, 3 of us in a mini van with 4 other couples. Guide was friendly and informative, he gave an overview at the entrance did not join us in the castles, as that was left for us to explore, which was perfect for us. Had a stopover on the way there and back to get some supplies.”
“O funcionário Alex que nos levou foi excelente nos dando dicas, informações e muito prestativo ! Só elogios para ele.”
