What to expect

An exclusive cycling tour in the heart of the Catalan countryside, this half-day bike route takes you through the wine-producing region of Montsant. And after pedalling your way through some spectacular scenery, you're rewarded with a tasting of local vino at a family-run winery.

Freewheeling along quiet, country roads, you'll be surrounded by vine-clad hills, barely touched by the passage of time. Passing through rustic villages and spectacular scenery, you'll arrive at the Sangenís i Vaqué winery in the village of Porrera. Nestled on a mountain slope and with the River Cortiella trickling through it, it's a picture of rural idyll.

Welcomed by the owners, you'll get to sample some of their best wines. And for complete flexibility, you can choose between a morning or afternoon cycle. Enjoy all the flavours of Catalonia with this small group bike tour.

The experience was good but I think the emphasis was more about promoting the wine distillery than the actual cycling experience.
