Things to do in Cathedral of Cuenca
Built between the 12th and the 13th century, the Cathedral of Cuenca is one of the most breathtaking monuments of the region. Constructed according to the Gothic style, this cathedral is a perfect example of the French style architecture of the High and Late Middle Ages: thanks to its high vaulting ceilings, its wonderful glass windows and the artworks that decorate its interiors the cathedral is an architectural and religious landmark not to be missed.
The façade was partially destroyed by a lightning in 1902 and was restored according to the Neo-Gothic style.
