Reportedly the most luxurious hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab offers you an opulent experience like no other. Located on its own man-made island across from Jumeirah Beach, it has unapologetically extravagant features, such as five swimming pools, a private beach, a fleet of chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce and a helipad (in case you fancy dropping by in your private jet).
Designed by architect Tom Wright, the hotel dominates the Dubai skyline with its soaring sail-shaped form. The interior is no less striking. Swathes of gold leaf go hand in hand with silk wallpaper and glossy marble features.
