Embark on a journey through time on this trip to Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond with a stop for some whisky along the way!
Your first stop of the day is Stirling Castle. You'll make your way up the high volcanic rock where it sits and imposes itself upon the surrounding land. Stirling Castle is alive with history and for centuries was the most important castle in Scotland. If you look down you'll be able to see the historically important scenery of Scotland's greatest heroes William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
From Stirling, you'll travel on to the Trossachs National Park. It marks the point where the Lowlands meet the Highlands and entering this beautifully picturesque area feels like going into a different country. There will be a lunch stop here in the heart of the National Park where you can enjoy the magnificent nature all around you.
After a lunch stop, you'll get to visit Scotland's largest loch, Loch Lomond, followed by a trip to the picturesque Glengoyne Distillery. You can tour the distillery if you wish or enjoy the refreshments that are on offer at their shop.
After a busy day, you'll make your way back to Glasgow.
