Starting from receiving an introductory lecture, you'll hear how the project began due to 9,000 tons of dirt mixed with invaluable archaeological artifacts was disposed of. Then, you'll be given sifting guidance and learn about sifting, plus discover the significance of finds recovered by the group.
Next, enjoy getting your hands dirty and helping to sift as you marvel at the fact that each bucket sifted contains artifacts from all historical periods of the Temple Mount. You'll also learn the story of the temple and how it's a holy site to the three largest monotheistic religions, as well as being one of the most concentrated archaeological sites in the world to complete your experience.
