  • The monasteries of Meteora impose a strict dress code. Men must wear long trousers. Women must wear long skirts and cover their shoulders. Skirts are also provided at the entrance of each monastery.

    We would have had no chance to pick the right sights from reading about them. We were shown the all best views and got good history background. We would have liked to visit more than just one monastary though
