What to expect

Your tour will start with luxury transportation from your Las Vegas hotel to the Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopter Terminal near McCarran Airport. Once you board the helicopter, you’ll take off to the sky over the Mojave Desert, Black Mountains and Hoover Dam. Just past the Hoover Dam lies Lake Mead, extended placidly east below Grand Wash Cliffs, slowly flowing into the Colorado River.

Next, you’ll journey to the Grand Canyon West Rim, occupied by the Hualapai Indian Tribe for over 1,000 years. Before returning to the heliport terminal your helicopter will cruise over the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

This tour includes hotel pickup from the major Las Vegas hotels. You will indicate your pickup location at checkout. Please be at the pickup location 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time. Note, pickup is approximately 90 minutes prior to flight departure (times are based on hotel location, time of day and traffic conditions).If you wish to meet on location, proceed to the Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopter Terminal (5060 Koval Lane, Las Vegas, NV, USA).

If you do not want to receive hotel pickup, or are not located at a major Las Vegas hotel, you will meet directly the Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopter Terminal
Bring your I.D. - All passengers booked on a tour must have government-issued forms of identification
Children over the age of 2 will be required to have their own seat. Children under the age of 2 years are required to have proof of age (passport or birth certificate)
Due to limited space, purses, backpacks and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft
Don’t forget your camera! Cameras and phones are allowed and encouraged, but please be aware that the use of "Selfie Sticks" and extending camera poles is strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft
Helicopters have a maximum weight capacity. Passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Anyone weighing 300lbs (136.36kg / 21.43 stone) or greater will be charged $200.00 for an additional comfort seat
Be sure to book your tour as early in your trip as possible
You may bring a bottle of water, however, the bottle is not allowed to be opened in aircraft
Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March to September, and winter clothing should be worn from October to mid-March
Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended
