Explore three wonderful and historic places in one day with an expert guide on this small group tour. You'll visit mysterious Stonehenge, the elegant city of Bath and majestic Windsor with its royal castle.
The day will begin with a guided visit of Stonehenge. You'll arrive just as it opens before the main crowds arrive! Listen to your guide and learn about the building methods and possible purpose of the 5000 year old prehistoric site. Admire its powerful presence, have a look inside the excellent visitor centre before continuing west to the Roman city of Bath.
In Bath, see the Roman Temple, the hot springs and the remains of the 2,000 year old baths. Here, you can enjoy some lunch in one of Baths elegant tea rooms, or try a famous Sally Lunn bread bun in the city's oldest house. You'll then visit the 18th-century crescents and squares of the Georgian city, built 250 years ago, when Bath became the social centre for high society with dancing, bathing and all manner of relaxation.
The final stop of the day will be at Windsor, with its majestic castle, the oldest and largest continuously occupied in the world and favourite home of our present Queen. Here, you can choose to go inside Windsor Castle, including the state apartments, Grand Reception Room and the Royal Chapel of St George, resting place of many of our Kings and Queens and setting for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
