What to remember
- Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving
- Excursions may be run by snowmobile or bus, depending on snow conditions
- Drivers must be over 18 years and hold a full UK driving licence which needs to be brought on the excursion
- Taking alcohol or drugs is not permitted before or during the tour
- Your maximum personal liability is €980 with the insurance, your self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying a waiver supplement of €20 per safari driver in resort
- It's possible to ride solo for a €55 supplement per person, sold in resort
- Snowmobile safaris are not suitable for children under two years old
- A child is allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, if they are over 140cm tall, physically strong enough, the adult helmet fits and they pay the adult price
- Children under 12 years old and under 140cm tall will pay a child price and must travel in a seat in the sleigh, pulled by the snowmobile, driven by the guide. If they are under 4 years old they need to be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh.
- All optional excursions are timed to complement your 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 night stay in Lapland - we will confirm the most appropriate time for your chosen excursion on arrival in Lapland
