From Old Lyon take the funicular up Fourvière Hill and admire the stunning Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, one of the most famous monuments of Lyon. From this viewpoint, you will see the beautiful panorama of the city with a backdrop of the Alps. Continue your visit with the narrow alleyways called "Traboules" where you can breathe the atmosphere of authentic Lyon. This is the perfect occasion to discover the impressive gothic cathedral and also the splendid Renaissance courtyards. End the tour with the most famous mural of Lyon named the Mural of Lyonnais. This fresco depicts 30 Lyonnais figures who helped shape the history of Lyon and the world.
