What to expect

The tour starts in the Anthropology Museum, where you'll admire some pieces of the vast prehispanic art collection of the museum.

Our guide will tell you about the Stone of the Sun, also known as the Aztec calendar, the Coatlicue (an important Aztec deity), and many other art pieces that reflect the insights, life, and religion of the many civilizations that developed in the old Mexico.

Then, you'll take a panoramic trip through Paseo de la Reforma (Reforma Avenue), where you'll see iconic monuments that identify and have shaped the city, like the Angel of Independence, Diana Cazadora and the newly created Bicentennial Column.

When we'll get to the Historic Center, you'll learn about where the Aztec empire settled. Our guide will give you a brief explanation about The Great Tenochtitlan and its long-standing ruins that testify its existence.

Finally, you'll walk through some of the most crowded streets in the city, and be surrounded by some emblematic buildings, like the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace and the Fine Art Palace.
