Things to do in Château de Flaugergues
Built at the end of the 17th century, The Château de Flaugergues is situated in the countryside of Montpellier. The Château is one of the so-called “Folies” built in the region and is surrounded by wonderful gardens. The house was built by Etienne de Flaugergues, a member of the Cour des Comptes and soon became an example for all the other “folies” in Montpellier.
The major attraction is the collection of five Flemish tapestries representing the life of Moses. Also, you will be amazed by the magnificent staircase that occupies almost a quarter of the volume of the house with its unique and elegant design.
