Built in 1992, by Qaboos bin Said al Said, this architectural masterpiece was built with harmony in mind. Perched in the centre of Oman's capital, the mosque can hold 20,000 worshipers in its 'musalls' - prayer halls.
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque's white-washed facades, golden dome and polished floors lined with flower-scented gardens make this an ideal place for you to take a stroll and immerse yourself in the local culture.
