Things to do in Novara
Novara is located in Piedmont, northwest Italy, close to Milan, was founded by the Romans (196 BC) and now it is the second most populous city of the region after Turin.
It is an important venue as crossroads for commercial traffic between Milan and Turin and, also, from Genoa to Switzerland.
Among the must-see venues in town, one can include churches (such as Chiesa di San Marco and Chiesa di Ognissanti), historical palaces (such as Palazzo Tornielli Bellini and Palazzo Natta Isola) but also places like Teatro Coccia, local theatre with a very important history and a very fascinating neoclassical buidling.
