What to expect

The fascinating natural phenomenon known as the Northern Lights is one of the most mesmerizing sights you will ever come across in your lifetime. The dancing colors and shapes in the dark arctic sky will simply leave you awestruck.

Firstly, your expert Northern Lights guide will pick you up at your selected pick up location in a custom-built 4x4 super jeep. On the search for the Northern Lights, you will travel through some of Iceland's most spectacular natural sights by night time with a very informative guide. The best part: The super jeep gives you the flexibility to go off of the beaten path, where big tour buses can not reach, giving the group a better chance to enjoy the Northern Lights without the discomfort of big crowds.

Venture into the night with front row seats on a chase to see the spectacular, unique and ever-changing show that is the Northern Lights.
In the cold night, there is nothing like some hot chocolate to keep warm and the brave ones can even add some Icelandic Brennivín to theirs!

The guides take photos every time the Northern lights are spotted so you can be sure to get your picture taken with the Aurora.

After pick up, you'll head straight to Langjökull glacier where your snowmobile adventure awaits. Iceland is famous for its glaciers but until recently, what lies underneath the Langjokull glacier had been a mystery. In 2010, the first manmade Glacier Ice Cave was carved to take people inside the heart of this remote glacier ice cap. What's more, you'll also visit the Hraunfossar Waterfall.After arriving at Husafell base, you'll climb onto a rugged snow truck to start your ascent to the ice cave, exploring the rugged glacial landscape along the way. An experienced guide will lead the way inside, where you'll see the magnificent blue ice buried deep beneath the surface that stays at a constant temperature of 0°.All this is combined with stunning waterfalls and panoramic views of the mountains as you make your way north to the glacier. And on our return, you might – with luck – catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing through the sky.
