Meeting point:

Pick-up from Reykjavík starts at 8.00am so please be ready outside your hotel lobby at 8.00am and keep a lookout for the local guide. Please note that the pick-up car can take up to 30 minutes to arrive.

What to remember

The minimum age for participation is 6
Trip difficulty: easy
Remember to bring warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, headwear, and gloves; good hiking shoes are recommended
This is a long tour so bringing some snacks with you is also a good idea
From 16 October - 14 May the tour will skip the following activities because of the short daylight: Skógafoss and Skaftafell National park
From May to October, there is an optional boat ride on the glacier lagoon (additional cost); if you are interested please book in advance with the local tour operator to ensure you get a seat
