What to expect

Are you ready to enjoy a submarine tour of Lindos and its waters? Jump on board and live a lifetime experience! You will meet your group in the stunning St. Paul's Bay dock and sail for a two-hour trip.

On this trip, you will admire the majestic Lindos' Acropolis from sea level. The submarine will then enter the famous Lion's Head cove and you will be able to look closely at the submerged rocks and local reef from the underwater deck of the vessel. Great for unique photos!

The following stop will amaze you as the submarine will stop in the middle of the sea to feed the fish. You will be watching every moment of it from the underwater deck. Using the free Wi-Fi you can upload your videos and stories for your friends at home to see.

The best is saved for last as the submarine will be entering Navarone’s Bay! The green, Caribbean-looking waters of the bay will embrace the vessel and create an amazing and surreal atmosphere. Get your snorkeling gear and get ready for a one-of-a-kind swim.

This tour operates with and without pickup. If you choose the transfer option, please note that this is limited to specific locations (Kolymbia - Plimmiri Area) and days of the week. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the transfer is available from Vlycha to Kolymbia region and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Lindos to Plimmiri region
You will be requested to add your hotel's full name if you choose the transfer option. Your final pickup time will be confirmed with you directly by the local operator at least one day before the tour
Due to health reasons, snorkeling gear is not available, so you may bring your own

The Order of St John of Jerusalem occupied Rhodes from 1309 to 1523, transforming the city into a stronghold. Their fortifications will be the focus of your photography masterclass. How will you capture the story of Rhodes through your images? Your visit begins with a theory session where your National Geographic-trained photography guide will share tips on composition, lighting, and storytelling through photography. To add an exciting dimension to your day's photography, your tutor will run a competition to find the best shot of the day. With that motivation, you'll walk around the perimeter of the fortress and through the huge gateway, capturing shots of the medieval elements. As you enter the old walled town of Rhodes – which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 – more exciting shooting locations will reveal themselves, including the Street of Knights and the Clock Tower. Your guide will offer technical advice, demonstrate the best angles, and point out good places to capture wow-factor photos. Eleni, one of our local crew members, says, 'Rhodes was once a hugely important trading post in the Mediterranean region, and pirates were a real threat to this success. The island's governors directed the Rhodes Navy to spend all their time policing the waters nearby in order to protect the ships carrying valuable goods such as salt and olive oil.' You'll join our plucky crew in search of the booty, and along the way everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. There'll be lots of fun activities for everyone to get involved with. For our little pirate crew, there'll be face painting and lots of pirate-themed games to play and for the older pirate crew, there'll be some pirate challenges to join in with.
