What to expect

Spend a morning discovering the wines of the stunning Lazio countryside, where the well-known Frascati wine is made. The Frascati DOC/DOCG area is located in the heart of the Castelli Romani, Tuscolum and Albani Hills south of Rome, and north of Lake Albano.

After a private car transfer from Rome, you'll at your destination in the Frascati area; here you'll meet your guide and be taken for a stroll in the vineyards where the history of the Frascati wine begins. From the vineyards, you'll then head inside the winery to discover the wine cellar and learn all about how this unique wine is made. A guided wine tasting will follow, during which time you will taste different varieties of wines accompanied by typical local products.
