Your guide will greet you in the hotel lobby for a briefing and inspection. Then, you'll set off along the highway, with water and snacks on hand for your convenience.
Your first stop is “Moon Mountain”, where you'll enjoy a 15-minute hike to a ridge that offers panoramic views of the desert and sea, a dream come true for wide-angle photography enthusiasts. Your journey continues off-road to Mugsail Beach. Here, you can witness the spectacle of waves crashing against basalt cliffs. You'll have half an hour to explore this natural wonder and capture some memorable photographs.
Next, visit Boswellia sacra trees inland. Here, you'll learn about the process of tapping frankincense resin, get to smell fresh resin, and even have the opportunity to purchase samples from local harvesters. The tour then proceeds to Ser’i Beach, a tranquil cove of white sand and tidal pools. Spend around 20 minutes here, strolling leisurely and capturing artistic reflections.
From there, your 4x4 off-road vehicle will take you on an adventurous trek through dunes, and rocky outcrops towards Fazayah Beach. Along the way, you may spot wildlife tracks or gazelles. Upon reaching the golden-sand beach, framed by ochre cliffs and azure waters, you'll spend around 30-minute swimming, snorkelling or relaxing. A short break includes traditional Omani kahwa, dates, and biscuits by the sea.
To conclude your day, you'll retrace the route, pausing for final photos of the dunes and coastline.
