What to expect

Be enchanted by the “Land of Music," traveling through Hof and Fuschl in the Salzkammergut region. Explore the grounds of St. Gilgen and visit the nearby village of St. Wolfgang.

Start your tour in Salzburg and drive to Hof, Fuschl, and St. Gilgen. Explore the grounds of St. Gilgen which is also the birthplace of Mozart’s mother. The next stop is in St. Wolfgang. Discover the beauty of this town, and admire a local church with its famous and unique 15th century raised altar by Michael Pacher. See the “Weißes Rössl” Hotel, the well-known setting for the famous operetta “Im Weißen Rössl” by Mozart.

On your way back to Salzburg, enjoy picturesque scenes of the landscape characterized by mountains and lakes. Pass by Lake Krottensee, Hüttenstein Castle, and the shoreline of Lake Mondsee, which is famous for its Benedictine collegiate church dating back to the 12th century.

From May to October, you will also experience a boat ride across Lake Wolfgang.
