Side is a must-see. And what makes it so appealing is that its archaeological relics are scattered around its compact old town. This half-day excursion takes you to this history-drenched headland, where you'll even get to visit a textiles centre and a jewellery or leather centre.

After pick-up, we'll drop into a jewellery or leather centre for a browse. Here, you'll be greeted by eager staff ready to show off their gleaming collections. Nat Geo Day Tour: Exploring Antalya's Nomadic Culture

The foothills of the Taurus mountains have been a region of travel and trade for millennia. First, see the unusual Seljuk bridge at Aspendos, whose fascinating story is represented by its zigzag formation. You'll also have time to explore the pretty Ottoman village of Ormana, known for its ingenious 'button houses' - built only with stone and timber. On the return journey, you will hopefully catch a glimpse of the famous wild horses of the area.
